About Us.

Colour Tec was formed by Dean back in 2008 as a man in a van and from there the business has grown overtime. Now a family run business with Kate (partner) on board as well as Gary another family member who is an onsite Technician.

Dean trained within the automotive industry from leaving school, over time he moved to working in the construction industry carrying out cosmetic repairs, specialising in all substrates.  Once the recession hit Dean found himself redundant and fell into the colour coating industry.  After a while he decided to combine his skill sets and set up on his own and from there the business has evolved.

Kate came on board in 2013 following the birth of their first child, bringing her customer service and admin skills to the business. Kate was very eager to learn the new industry and is now a key member of the business with her knowledge and organisational skills.

As this is a family business, they are very passionate about what they do, Deans eye for detail and quality is next to none and Kates organisational skills enables the business to be very structed which sets Colour-Tec apart from other competitors.

Deans moto is ‘you are only as good as your last job’ and this aids the business to operate without becoming complacent.

Over the years Colour Tec has built very good working relationships with repeat customers and the business has grown by recommendations and referrals.  As things develop Colour Tec look to evolve and bring new products to the range.
